Sites surplus to requirement consisted of garage colonies and vacant land in Billinge, Blackbrook, Earlstown, Gillars Green Trapwood Close, Haydock, Rainford, and Wargrave (Trees Estate) Newton-le-Willows.

 

Each site was surveyed and analyzed on various criteria, and proposals produced with the brief of maximizing the potential for new build affordable housing.
